Chang

Chang was a well-known general in the 23rd century. The Klingon spelling for the name is cheng (1).

Life

Chang was involved in several power struggles on the Klingon homeworld, but always managed to emerge on the side of the victor. As chancellor Gorkon's chief of staff, Chang accompanied him on the peace envoy to Earth in 2293. Chang had a deep-seated hatred of the Federation and secretly plotted in the assassination of Gorkon and the attempted assassination of the Federation President (2). Chang was fond of quoting Shakespeare.
