Through the Valley of Shadows

Through the Valley of Shadows is the title of the 12th episode season 2 of Star Trek: Discovery. It premiered on the 4th of April 2019 on CBS All Access and one day later worldwide on Netflix.

Captain Pike goes to the planet of Boreth (bo'retlh in Klingon) to find out more about the time crystals. There he meets Tenavik, the son of Voq and L'rell.

See the detailed summary at   Memory Alpha.

Klingon dialogues

There are a few lines at the beginning of the episode. Different to previous episodes, the Klingons speak English most of the time.

At about 12:57 and 17:51, Tenavik says the Klingon words for "time crystal" poH qut. Memory Alpha incorrectly used the phrase Qo'Qut in a first version, but that origin is unknown.
