DaHjaj Hol

DaHjaj Hol The language of today is a klingon podcast from Lawrence M. Schoen of 2011(1). On every day of the year, he recorded an episode and this way he made a nice course for self-study. The episodes are always in english. Each day of the week, Lawrence introduces a word, suffix, prefix or saying and discusses the grammar. He also gives hints, how to best exercise the different things and shows the usage of the learned with examples of sentences.

This is a list of topics of the day. During the podcast there are changes, due to the number of suffixes.

Day Topic
Sunday verb prefixes
Monday verbs
Tuesday nouns
Wednesday other words
Thursday suffixes
Friday words from KGT
Saturday sayings

The sayings at saturday usually are made from the learned words of the same week.

Every episode starts with the same greeting:
Hello, and welcome. You're listening to DaHjaj Hol, your audio home for Klingon language. I'm your host, Lawrence Schoen.

Sometimes there are announcements of meetings before the episodes, other times there are notes to the books of the author.

Every episode ends with the motto qo'mey poSmoH Hol language opens worlds. It is the motto of the KLI.

Rhona Fenwick, Eric Andeen, Alan Anderson, Rich Yampell, Robyn Stewart and Andrew Miller are appearing as guests in this podcast, where they are allowed to introduce their favourite word. They were interviewed at the qep'a'.
