How do I say... We leave in ten minutes?

To do this, you can use the noun pIq meaning future time period from now (1).

Briefly, it follows the noun specifying the length of time involved:

"two minutes from now" = cha' tup pIq
literally: "two minute time-period-from-now"

Now this piece is used in the same place in the sentence of any other time-stamps:

"We leave in ten minutes" = wa'maH tup pIq mamej
literally: "ten minute time-period-from-now we leave"

An alternative solution is to use things like qaSpu'DI' wa'maH tup... As soon as ten minutes have occurred.... qaS is your friend.
