Jack Bradley
Jack Bradley is a
Klingonist based in Chicago, IL, USA (formerly Québec, Canada). He is originally from Atlanta, Georgia. His
Klingon name is
DeSDu' or
DeSDu' jen puqloD.
In
2018 he passed level 1 to 3 of the
KLCP test and achieved the rank of
pab po'wI' at the 25th
qep'a' in Indianapolis, Indiana. Jack's pronunciation is very good and may be used as a good example for beginners. Also his translations are of high quality.
Projects
- In 2022, he provided an additional chapter in the revised edition of paq'batlh regarding the usage of ancient Klingon.
- In April 2020, he translated The Cabinet of Doctor Caligari, a 1920 silent film.
- In April 2020, he translated The Wizard of Oz, 1910 silent film.
- In March 2020, he started the QumQumQum group on Facebook and managed the qep Hop, megh qep, and mo'rISqa' qep hop via Google Hangouts.
- In March 2020, he translated The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum.
- In December 2019, he translated In the Year 2889.
- In November 2019, he translated Notes d'un peintre and Auprès d'un mort.

- He and John Harness started work on a Klingon-language podcast, HIja' , in September of 2018.
- He attended the 17th qepHom Saarbrücken, Germany.
- In September of 2018, he started a translation of "Candide; or Optimism" by Voltaire.
- In the summer of 2018, he conducted Klingon-language classes at the Ottawa Comiccon, Niagara Falls Comiccon, Montreal Comiccon and Treklanta.
- He has worked on the KLI's Worlds of Translation project, translating award-winning science fiction short stories into Klingon.
- He helped found the French-language Klingon Facebook group, "Apprenez le klingon", in early 2018 along with Aurélie Demonchaux.
