John Colicos

John Colicos (1928-2000) was a Canadian actor of Greek ancestry. He was a veteran of stage and screen, having appeared in over 100 film, television, and stage productions. He played the role of Kor in four episodes of TOS and DSN.

A pun was based on his name for the word qolqoS core (a group of people) , because the word "core" rhymes with the klingon name "Kor" .
