Klingon for the Galactic Traveler

Klingon for the Galactic Traveler is the third book about the Klingon language written by Marc Okrand, published 1997. It's one of the most important canonical sources.

This book contains detailed information on Klingon dialects, idioms, history, and variation. It also contains an updated vocabulary list with about 600 words, which makes this book a true necessity for any klingonist.

It's a great book and a must read for all Klingons. It's so much information in it about Klingon culture, so even if you aren't interested in the language, it's still a great read that can really help any Klingon cosplayer develop their persona.

KGT, for better or worse, does assume you have already read The Klingon Dictionary. If you are just reading it for the cultural information, you can just leave the words unpronounced. If you want to be able to say the words, you will need to learn how to pronounce them from TKD or Duolingo.

The chapters in KGT are not numbered like it is the case in TKD. The sorting in the contents' page and also the use of the titles throughout the book make an obvious numbering possible.
