box.png Locatives are words that indicate where something is located. In Klingon, these are all treated as nouns, so they can take suffixes depending on the use. Most of these nouns are translated as "area behind" and "area above" etc, but the word "area" is omitted in the following list for better readability.

To express the idea of being at a place, use the locative suffix -Daq or make a to be-construction.

The following words are sorted by their relationship. For an alphabetic sorting, click one of the titles.

These terms can either be used on their own, or describe the location relative to a noun. Usually they follow the nouns whose position they are indicating: "behind the door" = lojmIt 'em. It is also possible to use a pronoun instead of a noun. Using a possessive suffix instead of a pronoun will be understood, but is not the proper way and is described as the Sakrej dialect. (1)
