New words released at qepHom 2013

During the 12th qepHom'a', happening November 7 to 10, 2013, Maltz has released some new words. Most of those were the words used in Star Trek Into Darkness. At this qepHom the names for the weekdays were revealed.

qepHom details

The motto of the year was qepHom wa'maH cha' which was written in IPA symbols on a T-Shirt.

Markus Groß held a guest lecture at this qepHom about "How inhuman is Klingon?"

chIw v. express, embody, exude, epitomize
chuD n. people, kin, member of the same group or tribe or clan (very similar to vInDa')
Doj n. batch, pile, heap, accumulation
Dojmey n. mass, masses, multitude, a very large but indeterminate group of something (people or otherwise)
ghach v. lurk, lie in wait, lie low (ready to ambush, for example, hidden but posing a threat)
Hey v. battle or fight against one's own group (not the supposed enemy)
jIvvo' n. evil criminal, villain, malefactor
lIb v. be impending, imminent, loom
naH v. be hostile, malicious, unfriendly, antagonistic
peq v. slaughter (connotes intention, targeting specific victims)
ve' v. travel with a purpose, for a specific reason, travel on a mission
vInDa' n. compatriot, community member, cohort, fellow citizen
vum n. contemptible or despicable person, scumbag, bastard
vuy v. be helpful, supportive
wID v. massacre (connotes indiscriminate killing)
