Verbs with potentially questionable status
Transitivity
Many words are not clear whether they are transitive or not. Does
HuS hang mean "be hanging on the wall" or is it "I hang the coat on the wall."? Without clarification or canon examples, we will never be sure to know.
Stativity
This question would probably be clearer if it asked whether the verb expresses a state or quality. Such verbs can follow a noun in an adjectival usage, and can serve as the verb in a
law'/puS construction. In typical linguistic usage, the term "stative" can apply to such things as "sleep" or "stand". These words don't match the relevant concept in Klingon grammar.

Clarifications received
final decision:
chegh is transitive. The object of the verb is the place returned to.
According to
CK,
chegh return is intransitive:
I'm pretty sure that Okrand has used this both ways. He uses it with the destination returned to as the object in the interview in
HolQeD in which he explains
verbs of motion. Here we see the problem with trying to classify verbs based only on their transitivity. The important information here is that the subject of the verb
chegh is that which goes back to a previous location. (unknown author)
