Thomas E. Scheuer

Thomas Ernie Scheuer (born 1962, Klingon name Qel vertaH or "Krell Vertah", or "Lord Krell Epetai-Vertah") was the editor, compiler and illustrator of the publication veS QonoS for the Klingon fan group "Mortas-Te-Kaase" from 1989 until 1994.

In the first edition of the group's journal, the Klingon letters we know today as pIqaD were printed. In this way, one might say that Thomas Scheuer was the designer of the pIqaD letters. As it is known that Scheuer left the country for legal reasons, KLI members prefer to keep the origin of these letters as "obscure".
