The Witcher

The Witcher is series of fantasy novels and short stories written by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski which are the base for a computer game and a TV series on Netflix, that started in December 2019.(1)

Jaskier song

During the first season, a bard named Jaskier sang a song about the Witcher, describing his efforts and deeds. The song is quite popular among fans and has been viewed on YouTube more than 33 million times.(2) It is available in several languages and has been covered many times in many styles.

On May 11, 2020, Klingon Teacher Lieven L. Litaer uploaded his Klingon version of the song.(3) The music for the metal cover was written, played and arranged by Slovakian guitar player Thomas Kutik. (4)
