The word HolQeD was made up (using two existing nouns) by Lawrence M. Schoen as the name for the KLI's quarterly magazine.

Okrand canonized this later:
I'm glad you chose the name HolQeD for your journal. When Maltz began telling me about his language, he used this word from time to time to refer to what I was doing. For reasons now forgotten, the word was left out of TKD. (HolQeD v2 n2, p.12)
