(qep'a' 2020)

choghvat "[...] does have to be attached to a house or building or something or other. It doesn't necesarily have to have a roof. It doesn't necesarily have to have a little fence around it. It's the outside entryway to the building. (Q&A 52:18) A ramp or steps leading to a porch would not be called a choghvat, just steps or whatever. They would if they would be leading all the way up to a boat." (Q&A 53:00)
