More Information
This refers to a person, not to an "ambitious task".
The difference between pIl and vaw, both defined as "be motivated", is as follows:
pIl is if something [or somebody] inspires you to do something. Something external makes you really want to do it. vaw is a character trait: you have determination and forbearance and ambition, but not necessarily inspired be something from the outside. If you say 'I wanna be like him', that's pIl. When I decide to do something and I carry it out to its conclusion, that's vaw."
